1980 Iron Maiden Marquee Club Handbill London Blues Band Robert Fripp Concert

This auction is for an original April, 1980 handbill from the Marquee, 90 Wardour St, W1 London, England. This handbill measures 8-1/4" x 11-3/4". This handbill lists all the artists and bands to appear at the Marquee this month. On April 2nd and 3rd Iron Maiden appears with Tygers of Pang Tang & Ian Fleming. Other musicians this month include: Hazel O'Connor, Jerry Floyd, The Blues Band, The Beat, Girl, Athletico Spizz 80, Tenpole Tudor, Roy Sundholm, Praying Mantis, Merton Parkas, The Rhythm Section featuring Robert Fripp & Barry Andrews), Holly & The Italians, The Records, Little Bo' Bitch, Martha & the Muffins, Otway & Barratt (Barrett?), Sledgehammer, the Boys, Nine Below Zero, Gods Toys, Mark Andrews & the Gents, and the Head Boys. The reverse side lists some of the great bands that appeared since 1962 at the Marquee. The handbill is in good condition - it has a vertical crease through the middle from being folded in half (it may have been given out this way) - the tips of the corners have minor bumps/rounding.
