    Description

Tom Petty's DEBUT SOLO album, FULL MOON FEVER was his best performance of an exceptional career with his infamous Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. Like Bruce Springsteen's agreement with his E-Street Band, the Heartbreakers agreed to Tom;s solo production without them. Only the drummer, Stan Lynch objected, but the Heartbreakers contributed to this extraordinary album which had 5 of its tracks go to Billboard chart hits. The best of the best of Tom's career in fact was his great "Free Fallin'." The award features a small replica of Free Fallin's 45 7" release record. Among other greats who were in the recording studio with Tom on this album were George Harrison and Roy Orbison. Unfortunately, Roy died just before its release in 1989.
The award is 3-D graphics on stunning gold mat board, lifted on black suede mat lifted off the platinum vinyl LP. The gold cassette features a session photo of Tom during the recording of the album.
My father, Mr. Kittinger was a legend on Music Row for 50 years and his gold & platinum awards were designed and made not only for his original association with the country music community, but early in his career, noticed by the rock and pop record labels in NY, LA and even foreign labels such as APPLE who ordered his gold & platinum awards for the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Queen and others.
I am a 74 year-old retired CNN anchor and can only list a limited number of his estate items which involved 3 storage facilities and more than 5,000 collectibles which I inherited. I do this alone so I will add new items as I sell off others.
Please make any inquiries you would like about the Certificates of Authenticity (which you will receive with any chosen name you prefer) or any other questions about his work on eBay.
